W.I.S.E. Forecasting Case Competition – Financial Modeling & Forecast Analysis

As part of Team W.I.S.E. (Women in Strategy & Execution), I collaborated with four teammates to tackle a real-world financial strategy and forecasting case through Delta Sigma Pi and CED. Over three weeks, our team built Excel-based financial models, challenged assumptions, and developed a forward-looking strategy to grow company value and forecast performance into 2025. Despite none of us being finance majors, we pushed beyond our comfort zones and were the only team to recommend hiring two additional employees as a growth lever tied to expanded capacity and execution. Our data-backed strategy and clear defense during the final pitch earned us first place in the case competition, reinforcing the power of collaboration, curiosity, and structured problem-solving in complex business decisions.
